One Soul At A Time

As a dedicated disciple and ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Carolyn Bounds has served the Lord and his people for more than twenty years. Since before the time of her ordination, she has fervently sought the Lord, building within herself a covenant with God that has surpassed the numerous trials of her life as wife, mother, grandmother, as well as, her walk with Jesus as a forerunner to the days prior to the coming of our Savior. In contrast to many churches and ministries, she not only teaches the word but, is an example on how a Christian life is to be lead. Over the years, through prayer and further proofing in the creators hands she has overcome personal obstacles, and has risen from each ordeal renewed with the revelation and wisdom on how to achieve a relationship with God. The truth she reveals through the workings of the Holy Spirit will bring forth the foundation for a remnant thoroughly prepared to consummate the plan God has set forth for his church, his people; his bride.

Being the Co-Founder and minister of Consuming Heart Ministries, Carolyn Bounds has enlightened the Christian populace and its leaders to a fresh new way of interpreting and implementing the Word. These innovative teachings hide within them the power to break the strongholds the enemy has used to place Christians in a comatose state in which their gifts are neglected, and thereby, withholding their ability to strengthen their lives, as inheritors of the Kingdom. During her effective teachings she uses tools bestowed by the Holy Spirit, such as, spiritual visions, strategic intercession, revelation knowledge, and prayer in a discourse to seek out the path that the Lord wishes his people to follow. Not only relying on revelation, every piece of divine knowledge is tested against the final Word of God. In using these gifts the purpose of her ministry is to strengthen the faith and walk of believers, bring into balance spirit, soul, and body, in order to restore that which the enemy has taken, and rebuild it for the welcoming of the Holy Spirit and the reign of God within oneself.

In placing herself as a buffer for believers she not only reaches out to fellow Christians, but also to leaders in the community, such as, church pastors, intercessors, lay ministers, teachers, law enforcers, government officials, prisons, and schools. Using the same methods as in her ministry she advances to the forefront bringing truth into a legalistic and secular world. She sheds the blindfolds of those who would lead Christians away from the promises of God. By teaching those who have become shepherds of Gods people, she gives them the instruction on how to possess the land which God has given them and to occupy it with the belief and direction of God until the return of Jesus Christ. Initializing this role, God has placed Carolyn as a consulting minister for areas of crisis and trouble. Taking into action the hope and compassion of Christ, she takes those who are teachable and through love and encouragement teaches them to be empty, available, and obedient to the Lord. Thus creating the spiritual environment in which the fruitfulness that God promises to his followers is able to be made manifest. Although, these teachings can be used to attain the fullness of a life through God, she has also taught that it is not carried out on a whim, but is a lifetime commitment of separating from the flesh in order to be consumed and fully joined to Christ.

Currently, Consuming Heart Ministries is established in the United States, in the city of Houston, Texas, and abroad in the United Kingdom, in the city of Llandrindod Wells, Wales. Alongside her growing ministry, Carolyn in conjunction with the police chief is also joined with the Houston Police Department in founding the United Ministers in Action. The start of this ministry was designed to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community through crime prevention, intervention, communication, and the rebuilding of multi-cultural relationships. Carolyn is no longer President of the board, but is still involved as an advisor towards the ministry allowing godly influence into the dictates of our justice system. Together with this ministry Carolyn is active in several other groundbreaking advisory boards and facilitates numerous ministries in England, Wales, India, South America, Israel, and the United States setting into action the plan that God has held for her life, reaching the world for Christ one soul at a time.

Carolyn attends Spirit of Praise Church with Pastor Robert Soto as her Pastor. She has been married to Joey for 36 years and has two children, one son-in-law, and three grandchildren.
